Putrid
Punch | ||
Preparation This sick-colored punch looks disgusting but tastes divine. Empty the Kool-Aid package into a punch bowl. Add the sugar, then the water and stir until dissolved. Stir in the orange juice. Just before serving, add the ginger ale and worm cubes and float the scoops of sherbert on top. Before long, the punch will be green and infested with worms. Serves 14. PARTY TIP: Be sure
to freeze your worm cubes before the party. *Same as the above, only this time you can freeze the gummy worms in the ice cubes.

Crunch | ||
1 16 oz. can pumpkin 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 box yellow cake mix 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup sugar 3 eggs 2 sticks (8 oz.) butter (melted & cooled) Preparation Mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, cinnamon, sugar, and eggs. Oil 9" x 13" pan, line with waxpaper, and oil lightly. Pour pumpkin mixture into pan and sprinkle cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Pat nuts over mixture and spoon melted butter over evenly. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes & cool. Turn over onto plate and frost with Cool Whip (optional). *A great substitute for the walnuts (I'm not a big fan of these, unless on brownies) are peanuts. If you can't eat any sort of nut, go with granola.

Eyeball
Potion | ||
8 ounces vanilla ice cream 20 pieces blueberries or raisins 1 1/2 cup boiling water 1 ounce gelatin red food coloring 3 cups cold water red Jell-O, if desired, see instructions for details. Preparation Using a small ice-cream scoop, place 2 scoops ice cream into each of the 10 dessert dishes for eyeballs. Place a blueberry or raisin in each scoop for the pupil. Freeze 30 minutes, or until firm. Meanwhile, stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least two minutes until completely dissolved. Add cold water to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. Water quantity may vary depending on the type of gelatine used. Add red food coloring as needed. To make it easier you may also replace this step by using red Jell-O. Pour about 1/2 cup gelatin around the two eyeballs in each dish, leaving the top of the eyeballs exposed. Freeze until ready to serve. Yield: 10 Servings *These are not only a fantastic treat, but they look sooooo cool on your halloween goodie table. For kids parties, guests like to go home with a little something...so you can replace the blueberry/raisins with say a rubber eyeball - like you'd find at a dollar store. Very cool.
